Join NAWD and FOSH at the lovely Von Holten Ranch in Mora, Missouri, as we discover new ideas and tools to improve your skills, then ride with your friends, experience new ideas, and have fun at North American Western Dressage and Friends of Sound Horses' Festival for the Horse gathering!

The ranch is just shy of 300 acres of scenic horse trails in the "Gateway to the Ozarks" nestled in the heart of Missouri. Von Holten Ranch is the ideal location for an horse lover's getaway with a covered arena, obstacles, and rugged yet well marked scenic trails.

Join us for a unique gathering that celebrates the spirit of learning together for the good of our equine partners!

The fun begins on Wednesday, August 9th at the family-friendly Von Holten Ranch just outside of Mora, Missouri.  Our featured clinician for the day is Dan James who is well known for his performances at equine events across the nation.  In addition to Dan, we have lined up several other leading professionals from North American Western Dressage and Friends of Sound Horses to give presentations on various aspects of horsemanship.

Learning sessions will be held in the morning/early afternoon, leaving plenty of time for fun!  Enjoy trail riding in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, introduce your horse to the various obstacles that the Von Holten's have around the ranch, attend demonstrations, or just enjoy relaxing and visiting with friends old and new.  Dinner on Wednesday/Thursday and Campfire treats are included in your registration price and we will have a chuckwagon onsite for breakfast and lunch at very reasonable prices!   On Friday night, we'll practice for the show and have fun with stick horse competitions.  At 7:00, we'll watch an exciting drill team presentation.

Your entry fee of $250 for the learning portion of the Festival Includes participation and dinner on August 9-10.   Upon registration for the Festival, you will be eligible to submit your application to ride in the following demonstrations as well as demos by NAWD & FOSH each day.
